Are There Sharks In Croatia?

Posted on October 6, 2020May 5, 2021 by Igor Kocelj

There are around 30 species of sharks in Croatia
In the past 150 years, 9 people were killed by sharks. The last attack happened in 2008.
Although the probability of a shark attack in Croatia is really insignificant, you may take some precautions anyway.

HI, MY NAME IS IGOR KOCELJ…

When I started working as a tour guide, I stopped working, because being a tour guide is my passion.

In this blog I will share my excitement about Croatia. I will immerse you into Croatia’s awe-inspiring nature, decipher its mysterious monuments and introduce you to its spontaneous people. Croatia Unravelled!

PS. The smile on my face is not because I hit puberty last year, but because I made everybody on my tour bus fall asleep.
